Goodbye triple digits....

....it is now a double digit countdown!  98 days left until the due date!  I remember being excited when we began the 100's!  The baby is now 14 inches or the size of an English hothouse cucumber....hmm..interesting analogy. I finished my second (and hopefully last) glucose tolerance test.  The test apparently turned Hallie into a ballerina, she was kicking all over the place.  Overall, things are going well, and it's only a week away from the start of the LAST trimester!

My nephew Brooks turned one this weekend!  They came down to Midland/Lubbock to celebrate.  Between Brooks turning one, Easter, and Brooks learning to walk, it made for a very exciting weekend.  Here are some pictures to prove it:

The birthday cowboy with his birthday pancakes.  Obviously we are related, look how excited he is!

The birthday boy in his adorable birthday outfit

And after the end of the day and after all his gifts....this was his favorite thing to play with

A picture of my growing stomach, and Blake comparing my growing stomach to the size of our 10 pound dog.  Geez, thanks Blake!  Although I sometimes feel Hallie weighs 10 pounds, she is only about 2 pounds!

Blowing Dirt and a Growing Stomach

The title of the blog pretty much sums up the last week.  I remember thinking when we lived in both Denver and Dallas after living in West Texas, that the wind really blows wherever you are.  Ha!  Apparently I had quickly (or conveniently) forgotten what West Texas wind was really like!  I have officially given up sweeping the porch every day and applying lip gloss.

Growing stomach:  That thing just doesn't take a break!  I'm hoping it stays in the stomach region and doesn't drift to any other places (although my donut this morning probably did not help with this!).  Speaking of this morning, Blake had plans of golfing, and I had plans of going to church.  We compromised by going to early church.  I left Blake in charge of looking up what time early church was, and he announced 9:15.  Perfect time, I thought, why haven't we been going to this service all along.  We drive up to the church, and I immediately notice the sign in front of the church stating "Traditional service: 8:30, 10:45."
Kasey:  "Blake are you sure you looked it up?"
Blake:  "I promise.  It is on the front page of the website."  I pull out my phone and quickly realize what Blake had done.
Kasey:  "Do you think we can make it to Midland, Michigan in 10 minutes because that is where the 9:15 service is?!"  Well at least we tried!

Here are some pictures of Hallie and me at 6 months:

Hallie's crib came in!  I absolutely love it!  Her room is officially under construction.  Here are two of the pictures going in her room.  I love them as well!

Weekend in Dallas

After arriving at the airport at 7:20 for our 7:30 flight resulting in me running through the airport barefoot to catch the flight, we ended up having a great weekend in Dallas meeting Blake's Great Aunt Frankie Bell, seeing Grandad, and  Mr. Grady (of course Sara and Bryan as well).  I wish I could blame our irresponsibility and tardiness on pregnancy, but I don't think I can.  Blake and I can't get over how much Grady has grown since Christmas!  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.  The spoon made it's appearance in many of the pictures, and yes Grady was very excited that his Rangers won on Saturday!

Pregnancy stuff:  I am 23 weeks this week, and things are still going well. Hallie is kicking more every day, and I love every bit of it.  Blake has now felt the kicks several times.  I'm still shocked when I'm actually able to see the kicks!  I have a patient who swears she saw my stomach move today.  Less than four months left!
