5 Months and Goodbye 2011

Happy 5 months sweet little Hallie! Eventful month five for Hallie with her first Christmas and New Years!  She is starting to sit up, but will still topple over when she gets tired.  She is starting to catch on to the whole baby food thing but will only open her mouth for the bite if I let her guide the spoon in herself...independent little thing.

Her current favorites: her new "car," her hands, my hands, her dad's hands, the changing table, her lovie, and her bouncer.  Did I mention her hands?

Sleeping with her baby

Look mom I fed myself sweet potatoes.  What? Is something on my face?

Nothing like jumping in your bouncer naked

Happy New Year!

(you made the blog again Chase)

2011 was the best year yet!  Can't wait to watch Hallie grow in 2012!

Holiday Fun

I've been trying to be more frequent with my blog updates, so I don't have to download so many pictures at the end of the month.  Well, and then Christmas came and I think I have more pictures than I ever have.  So bear with me:

My Grammy (Robbie) had a sip-n-see so I could meet all her friends.  We had so much fun:

Small talk can make you tired

Hallie's first snow!  Yea for no work or school!!  Here's some pictures of the little snow bunny:

We still have some growing room :)

Christmas in Odessa with the Brazelton's

Christmas in Lubbock (and my second snow).  It was my first time to meet my Uncle Trent and we of course did not take a picture of the two of them!

Aunt Kristin decided to do my hair

We had such a fun Christmas and are so blessed to have such wonderful families!

Merry Christmas!

Hallie wants to wish everyone a very merry Christmas!
We are feeling especially blessed this Christmas to get to spend it with our little girl.

(this was my attempt at being a photographer...don't worry, I'm not going to quit my day job)

4 Months

Four months...where on earth has the time gone?

We have had such a fun month:

Finally met my cousin Brooks; he's my future dentist.  Forget the Tonka trucks, toothbrushes are his favorite toy.

Do you see the excitement in our eyes?  Go Tech!

Ruffles chips=breakfast of champions.  It was daylight savings, and I am pretty sure this picture was taken at 6:00 am.

 I love my cousin Brooks

Brooks' "mean face."  So mean I know!
I got to see my Gran-Nana again

And my Gonkey

The little turkey wearing her turkey pajamas

Happy Thanksgiving!  We went to Levelland and then Odessa.  Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures while in Odessa with the Brazelton family. I will make up for it at Christmas!

Showing off my boots with the fur!  Really I just posted this picture because Chase likes to make the blog updates.

Apparently I like turkey about as much as my mom does!

Gobble, gobble!

3 Months

Wow...Hallie is already a quarter of a year old.  So hard to believe.  Although I get sad thinking how fast she is growing, each month does seem to get even more exciting than the last.  She is smiling more and more, "talking," enjoying her baths even more (I didn't think that was possible), rolling over (sporadically, but still doing it), kicking like a little baby ninja, and beginning to laugh.  What did she first laugh at you ask? Me clearing my throat.  I had no idea that was so funny.  She has been sleeping through the night all month, which has definitely helped Mom's transition back to work go a little bit easier.  Hallie's "school" or as my friend Jaci and I call it, "Preschool Prep," seems to be going well.   The highlight of my day is definitely getting to pick her up from school.  Here is what Miss Hallie has been up to this past month:

Made my first big car trip to Arlington to meet Grandad, Judy, and Doug!

Hanging out with my cousin Grady

Playing with mom

Playing with Nana before my first official play date

Reading "Goodnight Moon" with Aunt/Cousin Reagan

Go Tech!

Sleeping with Dad

I promise we comb her hair

Sitting up like a big girl

Taking my nightly baths
