8 Months (just about)
(disclaimer: please excuse the way I look in this picture...no makeup and taken after working in the yard in 100 degree weather, but I knew I would get in trouble if I updated the blog without a picture!)
I know you are probably thinking the same thing I am, how much bigger can the stomach get in 59 days?! Trust me, I worry about this daily! When taking this picture, my photographer (Blake) said after at least 4 takes, "Maybe try sucking it in a little bit, that's the only way you are going to like the picture apparently!" Ha! I wish I could suck it in (although I do seem to try, unsuccessfully of course, to suck my stomach in when trying to get in and out of tight spaces!).
We had a great weekend. Grady was in town for the week, so we enjoyed playing with him. I hope his grandparents are doing okay having to drop him off after being with him a whole week! We had my friend Meredith's baby shower this weekend as well. She is due with a girl, Camdyn, just 17 days after me. Can't wait for our two girls to meet!
Pregnancy stuff: Still no big changes. The sweet little kicks seemed to have turned into cartwheels and somersaults that can get a little uncomfortable at times! She occasionally gets the hiccups which makes me laugh seeing my stomach hiccup. So far, my doctor's appointments are uneventful...blood pressure, weight, measurements, and heart rate all look good, so I am out the door in about 10 minutes. The reality of being very pregnant in the heat of the summer with nothing but triple digit temperatures in the extended forecast is beginning to set in. Bring on the unflattering summer dresses for June and July!
I have my shower in Midland this weekend, and I am so excited to see my friends and family!
