11 Months

Thought I should get in the 11-month update before she turns one!!

"Hi, my name is Hallie, and I'm 11 months old."

Showing off my only two teeth

One of the biggest things that happened this month was Hallie's cousin Caleb John joined the world. We met him a few days after he was born, but somehow managed to leave without any pictures.  He is so tiny and so precious!!

Unfortunately, Hallie's great grandad, Bodine, passed away this month.  We were so blessed to have gone to Dallas to see him the weekend before he went to heaven.  We will cherish all the great memories we have of him and are so grateful he and Hallie were able to meet.

Bodine always wanted to hear is nephew from Hawaii play the violin.  So for his birthday, Dan flew him in to play the violin just for Bodine.  It was a fabulous concert.

Rick (the violinst) even played songs for Hallie and Grady.

Hanging out with my Aunt Judy.

I told Rick he may need to come stay at my house, because the violin playing put Hallie to sleep!

What a month it was for the Brazelton family.  We welcomed a new family member and had to say goodbye to another.  This month in particular, we feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

We love you so much Bodine!

Over the past six years, Father's Day has been a little bittersweet, but today it took on a whole new meaning!  Happy Father's Day to one fabulous Dada!  We love you so much!

10 Months

"Hallie, how old are you this month?"
"I'll show with my hands this time Mom.  I'm 10 months old and finally in the double digits!"

"But don't think you are getting a smile out of me with this bow on my head."

"Later Mom!"
(yes I had my hand on her...no baby was harmed)

May was definitely an exciting month for us.  Hallie sprouted two teeth, made her first plane trip, started standing unassisted (occasionally)....and I will let the pictures tell the rest.

Definitely the most exciting thing this month was finding out Hallie is getting a girl cousin!  Kristin is having a girl in October.  We couldn't be more excited at our house!  Hallie was pretty much the only one of us that thought girl....we all were thinking boy!

We went to Dallas so Hallie could meet McCain, Sydney, Nelle, and Jen.  It was so much fun to catch up and have our kids finally meet!  Apparently McCain had fun too hanging out with all the girls!

We are loving hanging out outside now that the weather is so nice.  Reagan, Chase, and Parker came over for a Memorial Day barbeque.  Not sure whose belly sticks out further, Reagan's or Hallie's?! (Reagan's pregnant for those that don't know!)

Not sure if she is enjoying the pool or the water bottle more!

Well the picture says it all....spaghetti is a favorite!

Hallie's friend Cam finally moved back to West Texas.  Our first of many play dates to come!

Baptism

Hallie was baptized on 4/29/12, the same day we joined the church.  Big day for the Brazelton family! By far, one of the most special milestones we have experienced with Hallie.

We felt so blessed to have so many family members there for the baptism.  Thank you Bryan, Sara, Grady, and Judy for coming in all the way from Dallas!  Thank you to everyone that helped make this day so very special!

9 Months

Well I've wondered when Hallie would become too cool for her monthly pictures...the answer is 9 months.  These were the best we could do.  "Hallie how old are you?"

"Hmmmm mom let me think about it..."

"I'm going to cheat and look at my shirt..."

"I've got it!  I'm nine months old!"

"I'm done taking pictures now."

This month was a very, very busy one!  Hallie is crawling all over the place, pulling up on everything (regardless of how stable it is), and making her dad and me smile more every day.

Blake and I still come in second to Mia:
Alex came in to town and took pictures for her photography class.  Thank you, thank you Alex!  You did a wonderful job and earned every bit of that 96 (I'm still wondering how they could take 4 points off that sweet face!).  I'm still waiting on her to send me the bill:

We also celebrated Camille's graduation at Abuelo's. Sara, Bryan, Grady, and Caleb came in to celebrate:

"What is this wet stuff coming down?"  Sadly, Hallie has seen rain only about 3 times in her 9 months of life!

And the best thing that happened in month nine, Hallie was baptized on 4/29/12....but that deserves it's own post...in a couple of days!
