.....that my jeans no longer zip. Sad day at our house! It feels like a lot has happened since my last post. So much, I think it calls for a bulleted list:
- I am now in my second trimester. The sudden burst of energy I was hoping for the morning I woke up on that day, did not seem to happen. In fact, last night, I slept for 12 hours!
- I turned 28 and received the camera I was hoping for! Below are some pictures from the new camera. Of course the first couple of pictures that we took were on the wrong setting and are blurry. I'm still a little overwhelmed with the camera so bare with me.
- We have an official close date on our house of February 9th and a move-in date of February 13th. There is a light at the end of the tunnel now!
- As many of you know, my body seems to enjoy making kidney stones and has for years. My recent sonogram proved that my body in pregnancy is no different. The sonographer reported there are "several stones." We are praying the stones stay in the kidney while I'm pregnant...or for the rest of my life for that matter!
- To our surprise, we were awakened last Friday at 4:00 am with Blake doubled over in pain passing a....you guessed it, a kidney stone. Yes you read that right, Blake not me, passing the stone. I guess it was sympathy pains...Thanks Blake!
- I guess I am the stereotypical pregnant woman, because I crave pickles and ate a whole jar in two days. I'm now on my second jar and am trying to pace myself this time.
- Tomorrow I get to take the infamous glucose test. Can't wait to drink the flat sprite and wait three hours on an empty stomach. Hey...it still beats going to work!
- One pregnancy book tells me the baby is the size of a peach, another says it is the size of a lemon, and yet another says a medium shrimp?? Is it just me, or do those seem all different sizes. I will go with lemon, it seems in the middle of the other two.
Our house almost finished!
